2.0 Liter EcoBoost Engine
The upgraded option is a 2.0 Liter DOHC TI-VCT engine that offers a max 250 horsepower and 277 lb.-ft of torque, also paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
This engine comes in both FWD and AWD variants.
The 2.0L Ford Maverick EcoBoost engine with FWD can pull a maximum of 2,000 pounds.
The 2.0L Ford Maverick EcoBoost engine with AWD can pull 4,000 pounds when the towing package is added.

Ford offers a 4K Tow Package (Code 53Q) available on XL, XLT, and Lariat trim levels (all trim levels).
It requires AWD, which is only an option on the 2.0L EcoBoost engine.

This standard trailer hitch receiver is automatically included with the XLT Luxury Package, Lariat Luxury Package and the FX4 Off-Road Package.
