Both the Hybrid and Ecoboost engines have a 2,000 pound towing without the 4K Towing Package installed.

Trim level is a factor, too: even though the 2025 Maverick Tremor is an AWD Ecoboost model, it can only tow 2,000 pounds.

This engine comes in both FWD and AWD variants.
The 2.0L Ford Maverick EcoBoost FWD can pull a maximum of 2,000 pounds.
The 2.0L Ford Maverick EcoBoost AWD can pull 4,000 pounds when the 4K towing package is added.

Ford offers a 4K Tow Package (Code 53Q) available on XL, XLT, Lariat, and Lobo trim levels (all trim levels).
It requires AWD, which is available on both the Hybrid and EcoBoost engine options.

This standard trailer hitch receiver is automatically included with the XLT Luxury Package, Lariat Luxury Package and the FX4 Off-Road Package.
Can You Install A Trailer Hitch On a 2025 Ford Maverick?
