CleanTechnica provided a detailed review involving a Cybertruck towing an Airstream trailer, approximately 7300 lbs when fully loaded.

On a flat route, they reported a range of about 137 miles. The efficiency improved on the return trip, leading to an average towing range of about 160 miles.

This test emphasized how different factors like terrain and load weight can significantly affect the towing range.

InsideEVs’ 70 MPH Range Test

InsideEVs conducted a 70 MPH range test with the Cybertruck towing a trailer. This test highlighted a significant drop in range when towing. 

Although the exact figures weren’t disclosed, the overall energy consumption pointed to a much shorter range compared to non-towing scenarios.
